It's a sad situation when a person has more dollars
than he/she has sense.

When the character of a man is not clear to you,
look at this friends.

"They'll know we are Christians" by our love,
not our deeds.

An eye for an eye only ends up
making the whole world blind.

Don't ask for a light load,
but for a strong back.

The heart of a fool is in his mouth,
but the mouth of a wise man is in his heart.

Revenge is a Poison meant for others,
which we end up swallowing ourselves.

When the power of love overcomes the love of power,
then the world will know peace.

God is Love.

What an old man sees sitting,
a young man cannot see standing.

We fail when we give up what we want for life
to get what we see at the moment.

It is because of its emptiness that the cup is useful.

Come before the Lord an empty vessel...He will fill you.

Never wrestle with a pig —
you both get dirty —
but the pig likes it.

Your problems are only as big as you make them.

They can be a ripple or a tidal wave.

You're the one who creates them.

If you are not part of the cure,
you are part of the problem.

Those who criticize our generation forget who raised it.

Criticizing is easy, action is difficult.

In other words, "Talk is Cheap."

You can tell more about a person by what
he says about others than you can
by what others say about him.

Every king was once a crying baby
and every great building was once a blueprint.

It's not about where you are today,
but about where you'll be tomorrow.

Empty cans make the most noise.

Beware your thoughts; they become your words.
Beware your words; they become your actions.
Beware your actions; they become your habits.
Beware your habits; they become your nature.
Beware your nature; it becomes your destiny.

We must take on the "nature of God."

We don't plan to fail.
We just fail to plan.

God has a plan, and Jesus never Fails.

An optimist is a person who sees a green light everywhere.

The pessimist sees only the red light.

But the truly wise person is color blind.

A Winner is a Loser who never gave up!

The only difference between "try" and "triumph"
is a little "umph".

When you point your finger at someone else,
remember there are 3 pointing back at you.

That means that you must look at yourself
3 times before judging someone else.

Better slow going somewhere
than fast going nowhere.

The light is much brighter after
coming out of the darkness.

STAND for something,
or you will FALL for anything.

An investment in knowledge always pays the best interest.

"The heart of the prudent getteth knowledge;
and the ear of the wise seeketh knowledge."
Proverbs 18:15

It's not about how hard you hit...
It's about how hard you Get hit
and still keep moving forward.

The best concept is still ringing true many
years after President John F. Kennedy is gone.

My version:
"Ask NOT what your Church can do for you...
but ask what can you do for your Church."

A small trouble is like a pebble.

Hold it too close to your eye,
and it fills the whole world
and puts everything out of focus.

Hold it at the proper distance,
and it can be examined
and properly classified.

Throw it at your feet and it can be seen
in its true setting, just another
tiny bump on the pathway of life.

There is a difference between
knowing the path and
walking the path.

I cried because I had no shoes,
then I met a man who had no feet.

Then he answered and spake unto me, saying,
This is the word of the LORD unto Zerubbabel,
saying, Not by might, nor by power,
but by my spirit, saith the LORD of hosts.
Zechariah 4:6

The direction you choose
determines where you are going.

The key to everything is patience.

You get the chicken by hatching the egg,
not by smashing it open.

Don't let your victories go to your head,
or your failures go to your heart.

Make sure you have the facts straight
before you start to draw conclusions.

I don't know what the key to success is, but the key
to failure is trying to please everyone.

Success to me is pleasing our Father in Heaven.

It is so simple to be happy,
but it is so difficult to be simple.

To know your future,
You must know your Creator.

Sorrow looks back,
Worry looks around,
Faith looks up!

To get somewhere you've never been,
you must do something you've never done.

Never buy a car that you can't push.

You try, you fail, you try, you fail,
but the only real failure
is when you stop trying.

Even the smartest of men can't make wise decisions
without sufficient knowledge.

God is All-Knowing.

Wise men speak because they have something to say.

Fools speak because they have to say something.

Be wiser than other people, but don't tell them so.

A winner listens, a loser just waits until
it is their turn to talk.

Better a bare foot than none.
Better the foot slip than the tongue.

How can you discover new oceans
if you're afraid to lose sight of the shore.

A blind man can see as well as
a man with heightened vision.

For seeing is not only looking,
it is also to understand.

The student carpenter who tries to take
the Master Carpenter's place,
always cuts his hand.

The best things in life are not things.

"But lay up for yourself treasures in heaven,
where neither moth nor rust doth corrupt,
and where thieves do not break through nor steal."

Coming together is a beginning,
Staying together is progress,
And working together is success.

Criticism may not be agreeable,
but it is necessary.

It fulfills the same function as
pain in the human body.

It calls attention to an unhealthy
state of things.

You can never retrieve lost time.

Think like a man of action,
and act like a man of thought.

In other words, "think before you act".

Giving what you have is better
than keeping it to yourself.

Vengeance is Dark Light that blinds all who seek it.

"Vengeance is Mine, sayeth the Lord...I will repay."

Don't look at the spot where you fell.

Rather look at the spot where you started to slip.

I really like this one:
Going to church doesn't make you a Christian
any more than standing in your garage
makes you a car.

B=Believe in Jesus Christ
C=Confess that He is Lord and turn away from your sin.
